Celebrating a decade of Laudato Si’ at Balay Laudato Si’

Balay Laudato Si’ (BLS) in Bendum, Bukidnon, Philippines celebrates the 10th anniversary of Laudato Si’ this Jubilee year 2025, and along with Laudate Deum, Laudato Si’ continues to stress the urgency of caring for people in an integral way with the environment.

Working with River Above Asia Oceania Ecclesial Network (RAOEN) in promoting biome-based synodality, BLS continues its role as a place of dialogue and collaboration for environmental and social justice across ecclesial communities in the Philippines and other countries in Southeast Asia, and in the South Asia and Oceania regions.

Join us in Bendum at BLS with the Pulangiyēn community this 2025 as we reflect on the past 10 years — celebrating both achievements and failures — and renew our commitment to caring for our common home. Through Indigenous guardianship, watershed restoration, and youth education, Indigenous communities continue to inspire sustainable solutions for ecological justice.
