It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Datu Nestor Lumista Menaling, tribal chief of the Pulangiyēn community in Bendum on 11 January 2026. He was 81 and for the last year was in poor health.
Datu Nestor, also known as Datu Man Ingga, is the Principal Person of the APC school. His wife, children and many grandchildren carry on his name and deep care in the community. The loss is great yet his humble leadership gives hope to the community as we continue.
With gratitude, we say goodbye and share our deepest condolences and prayers with the Menaling family and community.
